Boo to you!!

Here today to share some 'spooktacular' Halloween decor with you!

For your viewing pleasure...and hopefully a little decor inspiration...are my Halloween "BOO" My Creations Blocks.  With just 3 My Creations Blocks, some Moonlight papers and the always incredible Cricut Artiste Cartridge I was able to come up with this cute little display I will be able to put out with my decorations for years to come!

Happy Fall Ya'll!

Well, it's not quite Fall in Arizona yet.  Here in the Valley of the Sun....we still have tripple digit temps!  Plus, some monsoon storms are rolling in which means it's not gonna just be a 'dry heat'!  But with school in full swing and the fall craft projects abound...it's as close to feeling like Fall as I can get!  

I was really happy to create my first Fall card of the season with Close to my Heart's September Stamp of the Month - Fall Favorites.  This was the PERFECT stamp set to grab all those new fabulous Alcohol Markers and give 'em a try!  I started small with the little pumpkin pair, but I look forward to being a coloring and blending queen soon with some more practice!

Congratulations....

It's been a busy, busy few weeks here at my house hold!  One kid started college, one kid started high school...then there's the 9 year old boy who just keeps me busy all the time!  So there hasn't been much time for sharing.  Oh, don't get me wrong....lots of creatin' has been going on around here and come back often cause I will eventually be sharing!  But in the stamping world, I have been in Christmas mode for the past few weeks and I certianly don't want to be like most of those stores where I am a postin' Christmas stuff before we even get to Halloween!!  But for today, I do have a card I wanted to share...

I needed to create a wedding card for some friends who were just recently married.  As you can see, there's a bit of 'old' and mostly 'new' which I used to create this card...I just skipped the 'borrowed' and 'blue' today. :)

Delight in Everyday

Today I would like to share with you one of the layouts I created for my Extravaganza Artwork for my booth for teaching at the Close to my Heart Annual Convention in July of this year.

(With some less-than-stellar photography. Sorry...DSLR still down-n-out.  My poor iPhone can only do so much.)

As you know, I was given the gorgeous new Avonlea papers.  Here you can see I have paired them with several of the new embellishments from the Autumn/Winter Idea Book.

Here, in a close-up for the left side you can see I have used some of the great new Avonlea Canvas Complements.  Since they cardstock weight and adhesive backed...they are so easy to use and layer together.  I was even able to find a complimentary Cricut cut to back one of the new designs.  But the eye-drawing feature of the page is certainly those new Opaques Pearl Flourishes!  I am in LOVE with those!  

 Of course I couldn't help but add some of the Colonial White Rosette Ribbon.  With 5 yards in just one package...it's so easy to add it to everything!  I finished of the layout with a title created with the new Canvas Alphabet...a great addition to coordinate with the Avonlea Canvans Complements!

Gettin' Flirty!

For your viewing pleasure today I have another workshop I have created with our new bright and vibrant Flirty Paper Pack.   This pack includes fun kit-exclusive colors such at Flirty Raspberry and Flirty Yellow...colors you will see only in this paper pack for just this one time!  I stamped these great colored prints with the large bloom from our new coordinating stamp set Love Blooms.  Then grabbed the sentiment set (also featured with this paper pack) A Friend Like You to stamp some 'love' on my cards and added a little 'bling' with our Opaque Pearls.  Packaged it all up in the totaly adorable mini-magazine file 3-D box from our new Cricut Bundle Artiste!

Oh, my darlin' Clementine! 

Yes, folks!  Our new Clementine paper pack is just 'darling'!! 

I love how sweet and sassy this new paper pack is!  With it's 'western floral' look and feel our NEW Burlap Ribbon and a touch of hemp are the perfect embellishments.  Give it a bit of extra texture by sanding and last - but not least - play along with the femine feel of this paper pack with some of our new Pearl Badge Buttons.

A little birdy told me...

You'd like to see some artwork!

As you may know, I was invited to teach at Close To My Heart's Annual Convention in Dallas, TX this past July.  For my assignment, I was given the absolutely GORGEOUS Avonlea Paper Pack.  I had such a great time coming up with all kinds of creative ways to use these beautiful new papers.  In the upcoming weeks I will be sharing lots and lots of artwork with this new paper pack.  So stay tuned for Avonlea overload!!

I have the cutest little birdhouse decorated with some of the new papers from the Avonlea Paper Pack.  This was one of my favorites out of all the art I created for teaching.  You've all seen the inexpensive little wooden birdhouses at your local craft store.  I picked this one up almost a year ago with so many good intentions.  But there it sat in my craft room....sad and neglected!  Until I got my hands on the new Avonlea Paper Pack and of corse the new Cricut ARTISTE cartridge!  It is decorated exclusively with Close to my Heart Products, with the exception of the acrylic paint and crackle medium I painted the house with.  
So here it is today....

Here you can see where I used our new scrumptious Colonial White Rosette Ribbon to embellish the roof.  Yes, the whole roof!!  You get 5 yards of this sweet ribbon in one package!! 

Last, but certainly not least....here is a close up the of sweet little flowers I created.
