Featured on JeanetteLynton.com!

It was with great delight I learned my Florentine artwork was featured on Close to my Heart's CEO Jeanette Lynton's blog. It has been such a wonderful 10 years of sharing my love of papercrafting with Close to my Heart's fantastic products. But it is even better when you are recognized for doing what you love!

Here is the artwork I created, along with Jeanette's comments:

Today’s spotlight art was submitted by Kelly English-Triggs, a Close To My Heart Consultant from Surprize, AZ. Kelly wrote that one of her main reasons for crafting is to celebrate her family. She has found that the Florentine paper pack is the perfect choice for just those types of projects. I am right there with you Kelly – the colors and patterns in this kit really get me feeling at home, and I love what you have done with it!

Such an adorable picture definitely deserves a special frame, and this one that Kelly put together is just right. She said she used a dollar store wooden frame, but after it’s been covered with that beautiful blue B&T paper and adorned so lovingly, I’d say it’s priceless! Take a closer look at Kelly’s accent cluster:

I love how well the pewter button and the lace flower from the Bohemian Assortment work together with the papers and stamped images Kelly selected.

Next up is a “Simply Irresistible” card, featuring two hearts from the coordinating My Stickease sheets. My Stickease are a great choice because they add so much without requiring a lot of extra work. And did you spot the Color Ready Seam Binding ribbon blending in so – well – seamlessly?

Here’s another card where Kelly has custom-colored one of the embellishments – a paper flower from the Just Blooms Petals Paper Flowers set. And of course the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge is a key player in this card. But Kelly has a very nice way of using the shapes in a way that they do not call all the attention to themselves.

Thank you Kelly for sharing your inspiring artwork with me and with all of us! You are such a talented lady, I’m glad you would let me show off some of your creations.

Well, Jeanette...it is with the greatest honor that I was featured on your blog it was my pleasure to create this beautiful artwork with the incredible products you consistently give us to work with! As long as you keep producing such phenomenal products...I will keep celebrating my love of papercrafting by creating art pieces that hopefully do your beautiful products justice!
